Annual Valli Vue Spring Clean Up - May 2009
This is the Annual Valli-Vue Spring Clean - pickup event. Here's your chance to finish off the spring cleaning of your yard and have it hauled away free of charge. Place all yard cleanings (branches, leaves, grass clippings, Christmas Trees ) at "curbside" no latter than May 17, 2009 and the Valli Vue contractor will haul the debris away. Spruce Beetles
The good news is that spruce bark beetle infestations in south-central Alaska have dropped precipitously, including the Anchorage bowl. The bad new is that the beetles are still with us. Awareness and Vandals
This year has brought a rash of smashed mailboxes, broken car windows and other property damage. In fact, just this month residents of our own neighborhood were arrested by police for alleged drug possession and smashing car windows. Tree Removal Guidelines
Applications should be presented to the Board at the Board meeting or may be presented to any Board member. Except in case of emergency, the Board must be given an opportunity to act upon applications before trees may be removed. (Select above link for full text) [11/09/00]

Fencing Policy
The Valli Vue P.O.A. requires the review and approval of any new or revised fencing proposed in the subdivision. The Board of Directors and the Architectural Control Committee have approved the following guidelines for fencing. (Select above link for full text) [11/09/00]

Cost of Snow Removal
Snow is not to be pushed into the roadway. When a homeowner shovels out or has his driveway plowed, the snow is to be placed on his property - not in the public roadway. (Select above link for full text) [11/09/00]

Covenant Committee Due Process
Whereas Alaska Statutes, Section 34.08.320 (a) (11) provides the associations may, "after notice and an opportunity to be heard, levy a reasonable fine for violation of the declarations, bylaws and regulations of the associations". (Select above link for full text) [11/09/00]
