Valli Vue LRSA Meeting Notes
June 1, 2009
Present: Rathke, Padgett, Dailey, Kucinski
Absent: Dunsmore
Note Taker: Kucinski
1. Meeting commenced at 7:35 PM.
2. Notes from April Meeting were approved.
3. Changes to agenda: None.
4. Gravel cleanup
WC&E said there were 3 ways to clean up gravel from ditches: 1. Large
and expensive vacuum truck 2. Vacuum hose mounted on sweeper truck and
3. Blow ditches and do street clean up with sweeper trucks. We tried option
2 and found it did not work well. Contractor is currently blowing ditches
and using sweeper truck to clean road.
Asked contractor for April billing but have not received it yet.
It was suggested we write a newsletter to homeowners next year so they
know what's going on with gravel clean up.
5. Speed Humps
Traffic study on Crooked Tree located speed hump close to intersection
with Main Tree which would not likely be effective.
Asked WC&E for estimate for 3 speed humps on Round Tree but have not
received anything yet.
6. Repaving Projects
Base bid proposal will be for Lone Tree and Green and Brown Tree cul-de-sacs.
Separate bid proposals, additive alternatives, will be offered individually
for Crooked Tree Drive and Red Tree Drive and Crooked Tree Circle.
A motion was passed unanimously to request Assembly during June 9 meeting
to transfer $250,000 from the Fund Balance to the Operating Balance.
7. Financial Statement
Bill received the requested OMB 5 year financial analysis of our LRSA
budget, however, there is little detail and he is still looking into it.
8. A motion was made to try to contact David Dunsmore to ask for his
resignation or, if not able to do so, expel him from the board so we can
look for a new member.
9. Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 PM.
