Approved Valli Vue LRSA Meeting Notes November 5, 2007
Meeting was called to order at 8:00 PM
Present: Bill Rathke, Dave Dunsmore and Russell Kucinski
Excused Absences: Ida Dailey and Regina Sleater
Our new contractor, John Light of Western Construction and Equipment was present to discuss winter road maintenance. The group discussed at length what was desired for winter maintenance and it was decided that we did not need a formal snow plan but would instead communicate with the John if there were problems. Points of the discussion include; plowing at 2” accumulation or more, special attention to slushy conditions which may require removal before freeze-up, plowing should be accomplished as needed and not at most convenient times, berms at driveways and mailboxes be kept serviced and special attention be given to sanding on hills and intersections. A motion was made and unanimously approved that plowing take place at 2” or more accumulation.
Russ gave an update on CRW’s road study which is has been delayed due to initial inability to locate water lines before boring could take place. We may still have the final report by the next meeting.
It was suggested we attempt a newsletter, similar to the example from the South Goldenview RRSA.
It was further suggested we request a LRSA location on the home owner’s association website at their next meeting where we can post newsletters, meeting notes and other information.
A motion was made and carried to approve the proposed annual operating budget.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:15 PM.
